Every situation is different. There are many variables that can affect dry time. In most situations the carpets are dry to the touch in 3-5 hours, but we do advise waiting 48 hours before removing any blocks from underneath the legs of furniture. Ceiling fans, oscillating fans, air movers, and dehumidifiers can accelerate the drying process.
Walking on the carpet immediately after cleaning is acceptable (with bare feet or clean shoes). The carpets will be damp, but not soaking wet, but we do advise using EXTREME CAUTION when walking from damp carpet to non -carpeted surfaces , as the bottoms of your feet will be slippery. We ask customers to help us remind others when walking from carpet to non -carpeted surfaces.
We do move some furniture , within reason. Before we start we will do a walk-through with the customer to set expectations in terms of cleaning and what furniture will be moved. We can clean traffic areas only, or we can move reasonable items such as standard sofas, end tables, most coffee tables, chairs, etc. We ask customers to remove any breakables and knick'knacks off the tops of anything they expect to be moved. The technician will place styrofoam blocks or clear plastic tabs underneath the legs of furniture placed back on damp carpet. We DO NOT move electronics, breakables, live plants, most beds, dressers, or entertainment centers
